"Doomed" is the third episode of Ultimate Spider-Man. It premiered on April 8, 2012.
Plot[]
Peter gets frustrated when he finds Sam Alexander sitting at his lunch table with his friends Harry Osborn and Mary Jane Watson. Peter and Sam get angry at each other and Principal Coulson sends them to detention, but it's actually a trick to transport the heroes to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier.
After some training, White Tiger suggests to capture one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most wanted villains to earn some respect, and the impulsive Nova chooses Number 1 on the list: Doctor Doom. The team follows Nova to the jet in an attempt to dissuade him, but the jet activates and they all go to Latveria.
In Latveria, the team faces a missile greeting and some Doombots, until Doctor Doom himself appears and defeats Iron Fist, Power Man and White Tiger, but he is defeated by Nova and Spider-Man. Spidey takes a webbed Doom on his jet to bring him to Nick Fury before Nova and take credit.
When the team shows the captured Doom to Fury, they don't receive the congratulations they expected, but instead Fury chastises them for bringing the most dangerous man to the Helicarrier, but "Doom" corrects him by saying they actually brought a Doombot, who then opens its chest to release five smaller yet dangerous Doombots.
One of the Doombots manages to damage an engine, so Nova must lift it with his powers. The others destroy the remaining Doombots before they reach the reactor.
Later, when Fury scolds the team, Spidey is about to take full responsibility for the debacle, but the others also take a step forward, taking responsibility as a team. While Fury is still somewhat angry, he is also happy for that show of loyalty. Right then, Doctor Doom sends a transmission warning that he has just studied the heroes for the next time they face him. This irritates Nova, who tries to go to Latveria after Doom again, while the others try to hold him back.
