"Double Bubble" is the second segment of the eleventh episode of Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer.

Synopsis[]

When Zeke starts avoiding his chores by throwing his trash on the roof, he and Billy end up dealing with a large-scale garbage problem on their hands.

Plot[]

Zeke begins tossing all of his garbage on the roof of the house; piling it up over time. While outside, Zeke runs into Billy who reveals that he is examining bushel specimens. He discusses the red berry bushel that makes one itchy for twelve hours, but when he is about to discuss the blue berry bushel, Zeke ignores him and goes back inside to play video games. Billy comes inside later to join him, but the garbage on the roof suddenly caves in. Zeke claims that he lost the shovels, but when Billy suggests using spoons, Zeke changes his mind and goes to retrieve them. He spots the bushels and gets the idea to make himself itchy, but uses the blue berries instead.

Zeke enters claiming that a series of incidents have caused him to fall on the bushels and get sick. Billy decides to isolate him in a giant bubble, but puts himself inside as well to join him. Despite wanting piece and quiet, Billy begins bothering Zeke by making smoothies and forcing him to take exercises. Eventually, Zeke gets and upset and upon mentioning getting coated in blue berries, Billy tells him that the blue berries cause inflation until they expand and explode. With no other option, Billy tells him that they will need to find a cure (he is also infected). They get into a giant two person bodysuit and leave the house to travel far.

The two end up at Gorbone and Son's Garbage Town, a junkyard owned by giants. Billy reveals that the cure is the earwax inside the giant, much to Zeke's annoyance. Eventually, Zeke admits that he rubbed the berries on himself on purpose to get out of work. Billy and Zeke suddenly begin to inflate and try to float towards the giant's ear. They are successful and using their leg workout routine extract the wax and feed it to themselves, saving them. They land in a hole of garbage and with a new lease on life proceed to dig themselves out using spoons. The giants however proceed to add more garbage to the pile.
