"Double Trouble" is the second segment of the sixty-seventh episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered January 29, 2018 alongside "Deep Trouble", and is the second segment of the thirteenth episode in the third season.
Plot[]
Sometime after the events of the previous segment, Commander Nemex orders Aggro to get a good status report. Aggro tells Nemex about a problem with Mission Force One shutting down all Nemesystems factories. However, Aggro has a new idea for stopping them. He decides to steal the planetary cloaking device on Planet Tempestoro. With it, Nemesystems will know how to make more, and then use them to hide all of the factories.
Although told by Nemex that that was his old idea and that it didn't work last time because Tempestoro is hidden by the cloaking device, Aggro has a new part of the plan: robot duplicates of Miles and Loretta Callisto. Aggro reveals that he built them himself. Miles and Loretta say each other's names and perform a comet bump. Aggro says that the robo-doubles will trick the other members of Mission Force One into going to Tempestoro. Nemex and Aggro will follow, and they will finally know where it is. Nemex tells Aggro to proceed with the plan, and hopes that it doesn't fail. Aggro reassures that the plan will work. He then tells the robo-doubles to do the task, and they agree.
Meanwhile, the real Miles and Loretta are out in space to gather space junk. Miles finds an old hyperdrive and shows it to Loretta. As they continue, the robot duplicates are watching. Miles sees a solar sail, and goes to it to see different looks of himself. This is when he gets confronted by the Miles robot duplicate. He deactivates the real Miles' Questcom, and the real Miles chases after him.
Loretta sees a booster module when the robot Loretta catches her and deactivates her Questcom. She chases the robot when she collides with Miles. They tell each other that they saw a robot that looks just like them when the robo-Miles and Loretta trap them in junk. The robo-Loretta calls Aggro, who says that Mission Force One won't even know the difference. Aggro says that he won't use them to trick the team, and accidentally mentions the plan to steal the cloaking device from Tempestoro. Aggro says that once Nemesystems has the device, Mission Force One will never find the factories again. The robo-Miles and Loretta take the red space jet to the Zenith.
Once there, they say each other's names again, and Blodger thinks that they are so funny. Mirandos tells "Miles" and "Loretta" that they got back just in time, as the team is due at the Mission Center. Miles says that the Admirals have a new mission for the team: to go to Tempestoro right away. Loretta says that it is a surprise. Blodger then initiates the team's signature catchphrase, followed by Miles, and the team suits up to go to Tempestoro. Instead of "It's time to blast!", Miles says, "Let us blast."
The Zenith then heads to Tempestoro. At that time, the real Miles and Loretta free themselves from the space junk. Miles says that the mission is to stop the robo-doubles from stealing the cloaking device. Since it is hard to blast without a ship, Miles and Loretta decide to put various boosters together to make one big rocket.
With five minutes until the Zenith makes it to Tempestoro, the ship encounters various asteroids. Miles increases speed, anyway, confusing Mission Force One, who wonders if Miles and Loretta are acting strange ever since they got back from space junking. Miles says that the mission is very important. Loretta says that it is a very important surprise.
The real Miles and Loretta finish making the rocket. Since it has no steering, Loretta points it to Tempestoro. Miles and Loretta activate the rocket, and encounter various asteroids, which Miles deflects with his blast shield.
With the Zenith arriving at Tempestoro any second, Mirandos says that Prosperos keeps the cloaking device on all the time. Once the Zenith passes through it, Mission Force One will see the planet. Haruna sees that something is following the ship. Blodger brings up the rear view, and the team sees the real Miles and Loretta. The robo-doubles then catch Mission Force One in trap coils. Aggro calls, and thanks the team for leading him straight to Tempestoro. The ship then passes through the cloaking shield.
The robo-doubles then appear and trap Prosperos in a trap coil. Loretta then locates the cloaking device's location. With the real Miles and Loretta about to pass through the cloaking shield, the rocket falls apart, leading to them activating their blast jets. They block the robo-doubles. Aggro orders them to capture Miles and Loretta, who dodge the trap coils. Miles uses his blast shield to deflect a trap coil to trap the robo-doubles. The real Loretta shuts them down, freeing Prosperos and the rest of Mission Force One.
As a result, Nemex orders all nemetrons to send all ships to Tempestoro's location and get him the cloaking device immediately. With Mission Force One reunited, Loretta says that the cloaking device is safe. Just then, the strikeships go through the cloaking shield and send out lots of striker bots. Loretta decides for the robo-Miles and Loretta to help Mission Force One out. She turns them on with one little programming change, one that makes them on Mission Force One's side.
After they deactivate lots of striker bots, a thundership approaches with more control bots. Prosperos says that it's not worth stopping them one by one, as the only way to keep the cloaking device out of Nemesystems' hands is to destroy it. Miles then heads to the house, causing the two control bots guarding it to trap and deactivate themselves. With one control bot following, Miles destroys the cloaking device with his blast shield. Nemex notices this, and orders the nemetrons to bring back the Nemesystems ships and abort the mission. Nemex will deal with Aggro later.
Prosperos then thanks everyone for the help, and wonders how he is going to keep Tempestoro safe without his cloaking device. In case Nemesystems returns, Mission Force One will be there to lend a hand. In case they aren't, the robot duplicates of Miles and Loretta will stick around to keep an eye on things. They say each other's names and promise to get the job done. Blodger says that he likes robots.
