Downhill is a 2020 American black comedy film directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash. The film is inspired by the movie Force Majeure by Ruben Östlund.

The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 26, 2020 and was released on February 14, 2020 by Searchlight Pictures. This is the first film released under the name Searchlight Pictures (formerly Fox Searchlight Pictures) after Walt Disney Studios changed the company's name on January 17, 2020.[1]

Synopsis[]

After being scarred by an avalanche during a family ski vacation in the Alps, a married couple is thrown into disarray as they are forced to reevaluate their lives and how they feel about each other.
