Dr. Calico's Cats are minor characters in Disney's 2008 animated feature film, Bolt. They're a duo of domesticated cats who act as the pets to Dr. Calico just as part of a fictional television program. Unlike Bolt, they knew it was all an act and thus they'd occasionally tease Bolt by pretending to be evil around him.
The Veteran Cat is first seen twelve while with Dr. Calico on a computer screen. After filming, the Veteran Cat brings another cat whose new over while he explains how Bolt believe everything was real whenever he'd has a chance it's how he would unwind himself. They both therefore mock Bolt from above the sunroof of the trailer by acting "evil"; saying how they'll catch Penny and that Dr. Caico has a plan which he'll execute very soon. Bolt give them a message when the Veteran Cat taunted Bolt same more saying that he doesn't have good memory before they both leave.
While Bolt was looking for Penny who he believed had been captured by Dr. Cailco, the two cats return to mess around him again only to both be surprised by Bolt after he jumped through the roof of Penny's trailer. They were not seen again until later on when during filming, the cats were shown entering a room with Dr. Cailco, where he'd "held" Penny's father. However, the whole studio caught fire after Bolt's lookalike accidentally knock down a fire post. It is unknown what happened to the cats during the fire as they're never seen again with Dr. Cailco afterwards.
The cats were with Dr. Calico in the short while he had both Penny and Bolt held hostage and are defeated when Rhino splashed them with molten lava. It turns out the entire event was just a dream by Rhino.
