"Dr. Doof's Lab" is the first segment of the ninth episode of the Disney Channel series Chibiverse.
Synopsis[]
The eccentric Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz welcomes Cricket Green, Kiff Chatterley, Marco Diaz, and Kim Possible to tour his lab to find out which one should be his new evil intern!
Summary[]
Kim Possible, Marco Diaz, Kiff Chatterley and Cricket Green are invited by Dr. Doofenshmirtz for a tour of his lab, despite the 4 having no interest, the Doctor convinces them with a special prize that will be given to them at the end of the tour. Doofenshmirtz begins his tour in the form of a song where he shows them the power his -Inators, introducing them to his "Doofaloofas", clones of him shrunk down to childlike size, and showing him his latest Doomsday Ray, the latter of which concerns Kim, leading her to deviate from the group and disable it which gets her kicked off of the tour as the Doofaloofas carry her out.
Doof leaves Cricket, Kiff and Marco alone in a room with a full-scale model of Downtown Chibiton and several of his inventions, urging them not touch anything but hoping that they do. Cricket immediately disobeys his orders by playing with the inventions, he uses one -Inator to swap Marco's place with a random chicken at Chibi Farms and uses another to grow his feet to giant size, which he uses to destroy the model city, much to the Doctor's delight, but Kiff stops him out of concern for the model's denizens, which she starts playing with, much to the Doctor's annoyance, who then has the Doofaloofas escort her out of the building as Marco returns.
After dinner, Doof shows Cricket and Marco his latest invention, the "Explode-Stuff-Into-Confettinator", until a piece falls off and hits a Doofaloofa on the head, who Marco comforts, concerned that the work environment is not safe for them as he learns that they don't have safety equipment, hazard pay, and that they aren't paid at all.[1] Marco then tries to lead the Doofaloofas into a strike, but an annoyed Doof uses the Chicken-Swapinator to re-swap Marco with another chicken, safely sending him back to Chibi Farms and eliminating him from the tour, leaving Cricket as the winner.
Doof reveals that the prize is to become his new assistant as he was looking for someone as rotten as he to take his place one day, as the others were too kind for his liking, and Cricket happily accepts, but when he decides to make tiny clones of himself, "Teenie Greenies" to help out, they end up making a mess of the lab and Cricket, wanting to clean up their mess, unintentionally uses the "Explode-Stuff-Into-Confettinator" to turn all of Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated into confetti, which gets him fired. As Cricket and the Teenie Greenies leave, Doof plots to make more Doofaloofas to restore his lab but is stopped by an army of Agent P clones.
