The Dragon Gem is a gemstone featured in Disney's 2021 animated feature film Raya and the Last Dragon which was created from the essence of dragon magic by Pengu, Pranee, Jagan and Amba with the ability to banish evil entities and revive anyone who gets turned to stone.
When it was first created by Pengu, Sisu's older brother, and used for the first time against the Druun by Sisu, it revived everyone except the dragons. At some point, it came into the possession of Kumandra's Heart tribe who protected it within a secret chamber. Raya was trained to be a guardian of the gem by her father, Chief Benja who wants to make Kumandra whole again. After the other tribes tried to take the gem for themselves, believing that it was the source of Heart's prosperity, but end up breaking it, however, the Druun returned and each one of Kumandra's five tribes took a shard of the Dragon Gem as they make their escape. Raya uses her shard to protect herself from the Druun and to summon Sisu back into the world. When Sisu is shot by Namaari, the gem's powers start to fade. The gem is finally fixed by Namaari at the end of the movie, which banishes the Drunn once again, revives everyone turned to stone, and revives the dragons (As it was humans' trust in another human that fixed everything permenantly). The gem was presumably returned to the Heart Tribe to be shared with the rest of Kumandra (As that is where all the tribes met up at the end).
As the gem contains the essence of her siblings' powers, Sisu gains them each time she touches a shard of the gem.
The known powers gained are glowing abilities, shape-shifiting, fog manipulation and the ability to make rain.
Namaari's necklace, which was later given to Raya, depicts a golden dragon resembling Sisu and the Dragon Gem as a small teal-blue gem.
The gem's orb form, its blue color and the fact that it shattered into pieces that still hold the whole gem's power, makes it a little similar to the fairy size Moonstone from Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure.
Because the gem is associated with water, it has the resemblance of a giant dewdrop.
