Trivia[]
Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, and Tony Hale reprise their roles as Riley, Disgust, and Fear after voicing them in Inside Out 2.
"Part 4: A Night to Remember" is the only episode where Fear and Disgust are absent. Because of this, Joy, Sadness, and Anger are the only Emotions who appear in all episodes.
It is also the only episode where Anger doesn't speak.
Aside from being the only Emotions who appear in every episode, Joy and Sadness are also the only Emotions who speak in every episode.
"Part 3: Romance!" is the only episode where Rainbow Unicorn doesn't appear.
It is also the fourth to be a Disney+ exclusive after the latter three.
It is also the third series to be animated entirely by Pixar, after Dug Days and Cars on the Road, as Buzz Lightyear of Star Command was animated entirely by Disney Television Animation in collaboration with Pixar (not counting the segments during the intro), and Monsters at Work had most of its animation done by ICON Creative Studio.
The series was originally going to feature seven episodes, but had to be cut to four, due to problems with the Inside Out 2 story. Plus, Pixar suffered several massive layoffs, with the show further exceeding its budget, and worse still, it was kept away from its streaming priorities.
In this TV series, it is revealed that the Dream Director from the first Inside Out film is named Paula Persimmon.
