Eastview is a fictional town featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It first appears in Agatha All Along and is the home to Jeff Kaplan, Rebecca Kaplan, and formerly their son, William Kaplan, who died in a car crash. Billy Maximoff later starts living here after inhabiting William's body.
History[]

William Kaplan was born and raised in Eastview for thirteen years and he was born in 2010. In 2023, two police officers went to the outskirts of Westview, where they met with Jimmy Woo, an F.B.I agent, but had no idea Westview was a town. They later returned to Eastview after speaking with S.W.O.R.D. agent Monica Rambeau.
In November 2023, William Kaplan held his Bar Mitzvar but the party was cut short after his father Jeff was informed of an anomaly happening in the next town over, Westview. Everybody left after the party including the Kaplan family. On the way back home, voices of Wanda Maximoff and Vision were playing on the radio, which distracted Jeff and Rebecca as a car on the other side of the road caused the family car to swerve off the road and hit a tree. While the parents were unharmed, William died from the impact as the hex was being destroyed and Billy Maximoff managed to transfer his soul into the body of the dying teenager. This revived the body without Jeff and Rebecca ever knowing what really happened to their son. Billy/William then suffered from ammesia and had no idea who he was as he was taken to the hospital, with the assistance of Alice Wu-Gulliver, who was working as a police officer at this time. Around this time, Agatha Harkness (who was called Agnes O'Connor while under the Scarlet Witch's spell), became aware of the crash and reported it to her police partner, Rio Vidal, who believed it resulted in a death.
After being released from the hospital a few days later, Billy went home to the Kaplan residence and embraced the William Kaplan identity as that is who he thought he was. Over the next 3 years, Billy/William started working at the Hokey Pokey Bowl to earn money to buy Wona Wu's copy of the "Ballad of the Witches' Road", which she released before she died. Billy had also formed a relationship with a boy named Eddie, who also lived in Eastview and they researched the Westview incident. After speaking with Ralph Bohner, William located Agatha Harkness and freed her from the spell the Scarlet Witch had put her under. The two decided to form their own coven and searched for some witches to assist them on the legendary Witches' Road, which the teenager was determined to walk. On their way to find these witches, Agatha asked "Teen" (whose identity was kept a secret from a sigil) where he was from and his name. While the sigil kept him from revealing his name, he did reveal he was born and raised in Eastview. During the final trial, "Teen" regained his full memories with the help from Agatha and learnt he as Billy Maximoff, the son of the Scarlet Witch.
After completing the road with Agatha, Billy returned to Eastview, where he was reunited with his anxious parents, as they informed him he had been gone for a whole 24 hours and they had no idea where he was. Billy tried to explain before heading up to his room, where he realised he had accidentally created the road with his magic. He was then greeted by a ghostly form of Agatha.
While speaking with Agatha, Billy learnt about the road not being real until he made it real and blamed himself for the deaths of Alice, Sharon Davis and Lilia Calderu, who had joined them on the road. Wanting to send Agatha to the afterlife, but failing, Billy agreed to search for his brother, Tommy Maximoff, leaving Eastview behind for some time.
