"Electro's Gotta Glow" is the first segment of the twenty-sixth episode of Spidey and his Amazing Friends. It premiered on August 19, 2022 along side "Black Cat Chaos" and is the first segment of the first episode of the second season.
Synopsis[]
Team Spidey must use their new glow tech to stop Electro from draining all the power in the city.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Miles' mom taking the kids out for a stroll in the nighttime of the city. Miles is seen playing on his video game but stops when the battery dies. As the kids go get some pirate-themed yogurt, Electro is seen harvesting the city for its electricity, sucking it all into her absorber. When the gang sees the villain, they morph into their Spider Forms.
Before dealing with Electro, Spidey goes to help a child who has lost her toy, Ghost-Spider goes to help a construction worker and Spin deals with his mom who is looking for the children. The gang regroups and learn that while Electro has stolen all the city's electricity, they still have their own electric energy source back at Web-Quarters. Spidey calls for Team Transport and uses the electricity to charge his and the other spider suits, allowing them to shoot glow-in-the-dark webs that allow the citizens to see better. They go after Electro.
After locating Electro in an abandoned warehouse, they see her charging herself up with the electricity she stole. Spidey and Ghost-Spider lure Electro away from her absorber while Spin steals it, allowing them to defeat her before she has a chance to power up and steal their electricity as well. Team Spidey then returns all the stolen electricity back to the city and all the appliances begin working again. The episode ends with the Spider Team returning to Miles' mom after de-morphing and enjoying their yogurt, though it has melted.
