Element City is the main location from the 2023Disney/Pixar animated feature film Elemental. It is a city where four different types of residents live together: fire-, water-, earth-, and air-people. Each type has a unique appearance, personality, and ability related to its element.
Element City is designed to reflect the diversity and harmony of the four elements, as well as the conflicts and misunderstandings that can arise from their differences. The city has distinct districts for each element, such as Firetown for fire people, the Water District for water people, the Terra District for land people, and the Breeze District for air people. However, there are also areas where the elements mix and interact, such as Central Park, the Cyclone Stadium, the Element Mall, the Ocean Liner Terminal (where elements arrive and depart) the Element School and Nursery.
The city is also rich in culture and history, with various landmarks, monuments, and festivals that celebrate the elements. For example, there is the Element Museum, which showcases the history and achievements of each element; the Element Tower, which is the tallest building in the city and has four sections representing each element; and Element Day, which is an annual celebration of unity and diversity among the elements.
The city is divided into four districts: Firetown, the Water District, Airville, and Earthville. Firetown is a hot and bustling area where fire people live and work. They are passionate, energetic, and adventurous. Waterville is a cool and calm area where water people live and work. They are gentle, flexible, and easygoing. Airville is a windy and lively area where air people live and work. They are creative, cheerful, and free-spirited. Earthville is a green and peaceful area where earth people live and work. They are reliable, practical, and down-to-earth.
The city also has a central area where all four types can interact and enjoy various attractions, such as giant pine-tree-like buildings, waterfall skyscrapers, Element Park, and a tornado-shaped arena called Cyclone Stadium. The city is inspired by big cities around the globe and embraces theorized contributions from each elemental community.
Residents of Element City get around via cars, trucks, motorbikes, and the Wetro, which spans across the entire Element City and has stations at the Cyclone Stadium, Firetown, the Water District, the City Hall, residential districts, and more.
