Elizabeth Mitchell is an American actress. For Disney, she played Carol Newman-Calvin/Mrs. Claus in The Santa Clause 2, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, and the Disney+ series The Santa Clause. She also played Ingrid the Snow Queen, the aunt of Anna and Elsa in Once Upon a Time, Alice Allenby in the ABC TV show The Beast, Juliet Burke in Lost, Dannie Miller in The Good Doctor, and Deb in the Freeform TV show Dead of Summer.
Mitchell was born in Los Angeles, California and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, a public magnet school before attending Stephens College and then the British American Drama Academy.
Her non-Disney film credits include Gia, Frequency, Nurse Betty, Running Scared, Answers to Nothing, and The Purge: Election Year. On television, Mitchell appeared in shows, like Loving, ER, House M.D., Lost, V, Boston Legal, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Revolution, and The Expanse.
