Elizabeth Claire "Ellie" Kemper is an American actress, voice actress, comedian, and screenwriter. She is best known for her television role as Erin Hannon in the NBC mockumentary sitcom The Office, as well her notable film roles as Becca in the 2011 comedy film Bridesmaids and Ms. Griggs in the 2012 buddy cop comedy film 21 Jump Street. She is also well-known for voicing Katie in the 2016 Universal/Illumination animated comedy film The Secret Life of Pets and its 2019 sequel, as well as Lucy in the Cartoon Network series We Bare Bears. Additionally, she played the titular character of the Netflix sitcom Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
For Disney, she voiced Crackle the hyperactive dragon in Sofia the First. She also played Pam McKenzie in the 2021 Fox film Home Sweet Home Alone.
