Elliott Goldstein, better known as Elliott Gould, is an American actor, voice actor, and comedian, who, for Disney, he voiced Mr. Stoppable in the Disney Channel animated series Kim Possible as well as acted in feature films.
Gould was born in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York City and graduated from the Professional Children's School. He began acting on Broadway in the late 1950s, with shows, like Rumple, Say, Darling, Irma La Douce, I Can Get It for You Wholesale, and Drat! The Cat!. He began acting in Hollywood in the 1960s with the films Quick, Let's Get Married and The Night They Raided Minsky's. He gained further prominence in the film Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice where she was nominated an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
He continued his film career with appearances in M*A*S*H (1970), Little Murders, The Long Goodbye, California Split, A Bridge Too Far, Capricorn One, The Lady Vanishes, The Muppet Movie, The Muppets Take Manhattan, The Telephone, Bugsy, American History X, Open Window, and Contagion. But he is known by most audiences for his role as as Reuben Tishkoff in the Ocean's film trilogy. His television credits include E/R, The Twilight Zone, Murder, She Wrote, L.A. Law, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Friends, Touched by an Angel, Hey Arnold!, Diagnosis: Murder, Getting Personal, The Simpsons, American Dad!, Law & Order, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Ray Donovan, Hawaii Five-0 (2010), 9JKL, and The Lincoln Lawyer.
He also produced several films through his production company, Brodsky/Gould Productions, with Jack Brodsky.
