Emily Olivia Leah Blunt is a British-American actress and singer, who is well known for her roles as Tempest Shadow in My Little Pony: The Movie, Emily Charlton in The Devil Wears Prada, Queen Victoria in The Young Victoria, Queen Freya in The Huntsman: Winter's War, Elise Sellas in The Adjustment Bureau, Rachel Watson in The Girl on the Train, Harriet Chetwode-Talbot in Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Sara in Looper, Kitty Oppenheimer in Oppenheimer, and as Sergeant Rita Vrataski in Edge of Tomorrow.
For Disney, she made a guest appearance as Miss Piggy's Receptionist in the 2011 film The Muppets and voiced Juliet in the 2011 Touchstone Pictures film Gnomeo & Juliet. She also voiced Naoko Satomi in the 2014 Studio Ghibli's English dub version of The Wind Rises, and played the lead role of the Baker's Wife in the 2014 musical fantasy film Into the Woods. Additionally, she played Dr. Ruthie "Pigface" Draper in the Touchstone Pictures film Dan in Real Life and the title character in the 2018 film Mary Poppins Returns, which was released on December 19, 2018. She also played Lily Houghton in Jungle Cruise.

- Blunt was originally cast in the role of Black Widow in Iron Man 2,[1] but at the end, she passed the role to Scarlett Johansson due scheduling conflicts with Gulliver's Travels.
- Blunt was once offered the role of Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger,[1] but she declined and at the end, Hayley Atwell was cast instead.
- Blunt was offered the role of Captain Marvel in Captain Marvel, but the role was given to Brie Larson.
