Emma Frost (also known as the White Queen) is a character who appears in the Marvel Studios Animation series X-Men '97. She is a mutant telepath and a member of the Inner Circle.
Emma Frost was created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne.
Telepathy: Emma possesses telepathic abilities which allows her to probe and manipulate peoples' minds. Her abilities have been stated to rival those of Charles Xavier himself.
Diamond Mimicry: Emma can enter a diamond form, which grants her superhuman durability.

X-Men: The Animated Series[]
When Jean Grey manifested the powers of the Phoenix, the telepathic blowback alerted Emma. She exploited Professor Xavier's weakened telepathic defenses to hack into his database and learn of Jean and the Phoenix. She shared this knowledge with the Inner Circle, who were searching for powerful individuals to recruit to their cause. Together with Mastermind, Emma attacked Jean's mind to brainwash her and turn her to their side. However, the Phoenix overpowered the Inner Circle and escaped.
By 1997, Emma Frost had relocated to Genosha and joined its fledging government. Amidst a Sentinel attack, her diamond form mutation manifests, which helps her survive until she is rescued by the X-Men.

Emma Frost was previously voiced by Cynthia Dale in the original X-Men series.
Emma's character design for the series is similar to her first appearance in the comics during the Dark Phoenix Saga.
