Emily Jean "Emma" Stone is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Wichita in the 2009 post-apocalyptic zombie comedy film, Zombieland, Olive Penderghast in the 2010 teen comedy-drama film, Easy A, Hannah Weaver in the 2011 romantic comedy film, Crazy, Stupid, Love, Gwen Stacy in the The Amazing Spider-Man film series, Sam Thomson in Alejandro G. Iñárritu's 2014 black comedy-drama film, Birdman, for which she garnered a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, Mia Dolan in Damien Chazelle's 2016 romantic musical film, La La Land, for which she won an Academy Award for Best Actress, and received another nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Abigail Masham in the 2018 historical period black comedy-drama film, The Favourite. She also voiced Eep in DreamWorks' 2013 animated film, The Croods, and its 2020 sequel, The Croods: A New Age.
For Disney, she voiced Ivana in the The Suite Life of Zack & Cody episode "Crushed", and played Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan in the 2011 DreamWorks/Touchstone Pictures period drama film, The Help. She was also mentioned in the Bizaardvark episode "Paige is Wrong".
She portrayed Cruella De Vil in Craig Gillespie's live-action One Hundred and One Dalmatians 2021 prequel/spin-off, Cruella. In addition, Stone served as the executive producer of Cruella, alongside Glenn Close (who previously played Cruella De Vil in the 1996 live-action adaptation of 101 Dalmatians and its 2000 sequel, 102 Dalmatians).
