"End Duet" (also titled as "Transformation") is a song from the Beauty and the Beast stage musical.
Background[]
It is sung at the end of the musical where Belle comforts the Beast who is severely injured by Gaston during the battle just as the Beast dies to which after the last petal of the Enchanted Rose falls, a fragment of the score "Transformation" from the 1991 original film briefly plays throughout the song where the Beast is transformed into a handsome Prince whom Belle finally recognizes who he really is before he was turned into a Beast just as she and the Prince reconcile and reunite with each other alongside the Castle Servants who have been transformed back into their human forms just as the couple reunites with them, which later loops into a reprise of the musical number "Beauty and the Beast".
