"Enter MacBeth" is the ninth episode of Gargoyles and the fourth single-part episode of the series. It aired on January 6, 1995.

Plot

With Xanatos' release coming up, Elisa tries and fails to convince Goliath to move out of the castle, meanwhile, a man named MacBeth who knows all about gargoyles offers to clear them from Xanatos' home. His real goal is Demona and to prove his point he captures Lex, Brooklyn, and Bronx forcing Goliath into a confrontation with him.

Trivia

• First appearance of MacBeth.
• When Hudson watches TV in this episode, a brief clip of Donald Duck wrestling with some sticky pizza is seen on the TV. This clip is actually from the very first episode of Quack Pack, "The Really Mighty Ducks", which would not be shown on TV until over two years after this episode's initial airing.
