Semaj was a human male born on the planet Naboo to a Chandrilan father and a Ghorman mother. Semaj's mother was a woman whom his father was having an affair with. Eventually, when his mother died, Semaj was taken in by Imperial Senator Mon Mothma, becoming her aide.
