"Everyday" is the ninth song in the television film, High School Musical 2. It is performed by Zac Efron as Troy Bolton and Vanessa Hudgens as Gabriella Montez. In addition, the whole cast sings the last chorus.

Summary

The song is performed in the talent show of the Lava Springs country club. Kelsi (Olesya Rulin) tells Troy (Zac Efron) that she's written a new song for him and Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) to sing, although is a plan of the Wildcats to reunite him with Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens). As Troy starts the performance, Gabriella appears and join him. At the last chorus, all the Wildcats go to the stage and perform together, including Sharpay. In the end, Sharpay helps Ryan (Lucas Grabeel) win the talent show for his choreography.
