After all, nothing is as simple as black and white.
Trivia
- This is the first book of the series to be set in the 'real' world. Cruella grows up with her favorite storybook that details all of Princess Tulip's adventures (a supporting character in the earlier books of the series).
- However, it is strongly implied that Cruella's earrings were cursed by the Odd Sisters prior to coming into her possession, implying that the events of the rest of the series truly occurred and merely faded into legends and stories by the time the book takes place.
