"Fab Fourteen" is the second segment of the fifty-sixth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Kiff.
Synopsis[]
Barry is in charge of throwing a Fab Fourteen for his cousin.
Plot[]
Mary, Barry, and Kiff are at the Table Town Airport to pick up Barry's visiting cousin Rodney. When Kiff asks about Rodney, Barry shows her an old, discolored photo taken by Mary during "the bucket times", the time "when you're so small that your mom puts you in a bucket with other kid relatives to take cute photos", while also admitting that he knows nothing else about Rodney. Barry is thus shocked to hear that he is in charge of planning Rodney's upcoming 14th birthday party, and that Rodney apparently thinks of him as a best friend and tells everyone about a childhood incident in which they got stuck going down a slide together and had to be freed by the fire department. Mary shows Barry another old photo showing the incident, which Barry does not recall.
Back at the Buns residence, Rodney tells Barry that he wants his party to be a retrospective of his life so far. Barry asks Rodney for more specific details about his life, but he chooses not to provide any, wanting the party to feel like a surprise. Barry, however, knows nothing about Rodney beyond the bucket and slide events Mary told him about. Kiff finds the website of a private investigator named Jackie Pennidötterand suggests that Jackie might be able to dig up dirt on Rodney. After meeting with the duo in her office, Jackie agrees to investigate Rodney and tells Kiff and Barry she will meet them the following day in an undisclosed location.
The next day, Rodney runs into Kiff and Barry at the park and suggests that the chandeliers at the party could incorporate "that thing I did when I was 8", which Barry has no knowledge of. Hiding behind a tree, Jackie calls Kiff and Barry over to share her findings – which turn out to be nothing more than the same bucket and slide photos from earlier, which she broke into the Buns house to obtain. Jackie reminds them that she does not issue refunds and quickly leaves on her scooter. Rodney makes another request for the members of his lacrosse team, "except for you-know-who", to be invited to the party, which he now wants to be held the following day on his actual birthday.
With nothing to work with except the two photos, Barry and Kiff organize a party in the Buns' backyard themed entirely around the bucket and slide events. After making his grand entrance into the party going down a giant slide, Rodney is annoyed to see that the party is about nothing else other than buckets and slides. Hoping to lighten Rodney's mood, Barry proceeds to perform the musical number he prepared for Rodney, but the song also says nothing about Rodney beyond the bucket and slide events. Rodney has a fit and throws a piece of cake, which hits Kiff in the face. Furious, Kiff tells Rodney off for his ungratefulness and finally lets him know that Barry barely knows who he is. Harry then walks by and greets Rodney as his "bucket bro", causing everyone to realize that it was actually Harry in the bucket and slide photos with Rodney.
With the mix-up revealed, Rodney apologizes to Barry for his behavior and compliments the party, then goes over to Harry to catch up. Now that the party is no longer Barry's problem, he and Kiff have fun going down the giant slide together, and Mary takes a photo of them. Jackie speeds by on her scooter and swipes the photo, reminding Kiff and Barry to tell their friends about her services as she scoots away.

Chatterley", labeled "new", was mistakenly aired instead of "Uncle Pat in Charge"/"Fab Fourteen" on its scheduled premiere date of October 25, 2025, although it premiered as planned on Disney XD on the same date, and later premiered on Disney Channel on October 29, 2025.
Continuity[]
- A muzak version of "Totally Table Town", from the episode of the same name, is heard at the airport.
- The arrival and departure boards at the airport display flights from and to Bench Beach, New Table Town, Ottoman Flats, Cocina Island, Chairsburg, Rugsville, and Lamp Lakes.
- Bench Beach was previously mentioned as the location of the Left Brothers' flight in "Thirst to Be the First", while Ottoman Flats was previously mentioned in "Weekly Grocery Shop" and "The Haunting Of Miss McGravy's House".
- This marks the first mention of Chairsburg in the series. Outside of the show's canon continuity, a theme park named Historical Chairsburg figured prominently in a five-part arc of Kiff shorts ("Field Trip Blues", "Roundabout", "Outta Gas", "What's That Smell?", and "Historical Chairsburg") in Disney's Road Trip series that premiered earlier in 2025.
- The Fran's Franks billboard and stand from "Two for One Hot Dogs" are seen in the park.
- A photo of Candle's birthday party at the Waterslide of Eternal Joy from "Pool Party" is seen in the "slide show" at Rodney's party.
