- “Let Fear Power You!”

Fear Corporation (usually abbreviated to Fear Co.) is one of the rival companies to Monsters, Inc. It is the second-biggest scream-processing plant, after Monsters, Inc, and still uses scare power during the early transition from scream to laugh energy.
Fear Co. was founded by Jack "the Fang" Worthington, one of the pioneers of scream energy. The company is best known for hiring the most frightening scarers, and has been run by the Worthington family for generations, with Johnny Worthington III, descendant of Jack Worthington, as the current CEO. The logo of Fear Co. is the company's initials. A black F shaped like a roaring monster with a red C on top of the F.
After Johnny's arrest, it is unknown what will happened to Fear Co., although the company is most likely to be shut down for endangering Monstropolis by combining scream and laugh power that could destroy the city had Tylor and MIFT did not intervene in their plans.
Places of interest[]
A lot of the company's facilities are mostly underground.
- Scare floors: The scare floors are giant dark caves with an arena in the center. All around are door stations with machines that automatically fill and reload Scream Canisters. Above is the control tower and the Scarer's Leaderboard.
Trivia[]
- Fear Co. was originally created for the original Monsters, Inc., as a rival company that had monsters that came out from under the bed. In earlier versions of the film, it was to play a more significant role, as a reminder of Monsters, Inc.'s flailing business. Ultimately, it was cut out of the film with only the vague mention of rival companies getting a brief mention.
- When MIFT infiltrates Fear Co. to stop Johnny, Val Little commented that their scare floors "gives the evil lair kind of vibe", foreshadowing their evil scheme with the scream amplifier.
