Feathered Friends in Flight! is an attraction located at the Asia section at the Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is a rethemed version of "Flights of Wonder" which replaced the former UP! A Great Bird Adventure theme, which closed on March 12, 2020.
Show summary[]
Just like what happened in its previous predecessors, "Flights of Wonder" and "UP! A Great Bird Adventure", "Feathered Friends in Flight!" takes the form of a bird show where bird trainers provide facts about the birds seen during the show, usually bird facts about what makes these birds unique and why birds are important to the Earth's ecosystems (example, roseate spoonbills use their beaks to sip water to look for food such as crustaceans, Andean condors find leftover carrion to eat in order to clean up the mess to help prevent the spread of disease, etc.). Occasionally during the show, guests may be chosen to participate during the show to interact with the Cast Members during the show so that the birds trained during the show may interact with the participating guest who was chosen to participate. At the end of the show, the trainers teach viewers about the importance of protecting threatened species of birds from the brink of extinction as well as protecting the habitats where the exotic birds live so that people can make a difference to protect natural habitats where exotic birds live.
