"Fiends & Family" is the first half of the 20th episode of Dave the Barbarian.
Synopsis[]
When her parents announce that they have to start their quest all over again, Fang is crushed and cheering her up is a Herculean task. Meanwhile, the Dark Lord Chuckles the Silly Piggy disguises himself as Fang's father as part of a plot to steal a magical artifact.

- The King and Queen's quest to fight evil is brought up again. The hilarity lost on the children viewers is that their quest is ultimately pointless and eternal; given evil isn't a tangible enemy, but rather what one believes evil is. Plus this is hinted at by the queen who said "evil" appeared where they began the journey; because even if they defeat what's "evil" in one place, something else will come along eventually.
