Forky Asks a Question is a Pixar short film series exclusive to Disney's streaming platform Disney+. It became available for streaming upon the debut of Disney+ on November 12, 2019. It takes place after the events of Toy Story 4.

Synopsis

"Forky asks important questions about how the world works, such as: What is love? What is time? And of course, the deepest question of all, What is cheese?"

Trivia

• The music cue "Bye Boo" from Monsters, Inc. happens whenever Forky understands the question. The only time it wasn't featured were in the episodes, "What is a Pet?" and "What is Cheese?"
• Hamm, Trixie, Mr. Pricklepants, and the conga line of toys are the only characters, besides Forky, to appear in more than one episode.
• Out of all the Toy Story characters in this series, it doesn't feature any Toy Story characters introduced in Toy Story 2. Rex and Hamm debuted in the original Toy Story, Mr. Pricklepants, Trixie, Dolly and Buttercup debuted in Toy Story 3 and Forky debuted in Toy Story 4.
• This is the first Pixar show since Cars Toons to not receive Funko figures.
