James Hong (traditional Chinese: 吳漢章; simplified Chinese: 吴汉章; pinyin: Wú Hànzhāng; Jyutping: Ng4 Hon3zoeng1) is a Chinese-American actor, producer, director, voice artist, and former president of the Association of Asian/Pacific American Artists (AAPAA). A prolific acting veteran, Hong's career spanned over 50 years and included more than 350 roles in film, television, and video games. He is best known for his role as Barry Chan in the crime drama series The New Adventures of Charlie Chan. He is also well-known for his Annie Award-winning voice role as Mr. Ping (Po's adoptive father) in DreamWorks' Kung Fu Panda franchise, and for voicing Dr. Zin in Tom and Jerry: Spy Quest and various characters in the Cartoon Network series Regular Show. Additionally, he portrayed Walter in the 2019 Universal Pictures comedy film Grand-Daddy Day Care.

For Disney, he voiced Chi-Fu in the 1998 Disney animated film Mulan. He also portrayed Bobby Birdsong in the 1995 Touchstone Pictures film Bad Company, Ming Lo in No Deposit, No Return, Y B'ham in Operation Dumbo Drop, Chiu Chang in Zorro, Dave in the Home Improvement episode "Games, Flames & Automobiles", and Kenny in the A.N.T. Farm episode "cANTonese style cuisine". Additionally, he voiced Mandarin in Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, Azmorigan in Star Wars Rebels, and played William May in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. He also voiced Mr. Gao in Disney/Pixar's 2022 animated film Turning Red and played the Jade Emperor in American Born Chinese.
