Rapunzel's Caravan was a large carriage and mobile home for Rapunzel and her friends as they ventured outside the walls of Corona and began their journey and adventures to the Dark Kingdom in Tangled: The Series.
Role in the series[]
The caravan first appears in the episode "Beyond the Corona Walls". Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Lance, and Hook Foot are the original squad members of the adventure outside Corona by the caravan which is pulled by Maximus and Fidella. On the way to Vardaros, Cassandra discovers Shorty sneaked into the food cabin.
In "King Pascal", the caravan is transformed into a boat to cross the water, but unfortunately, the squad encounter a storm and they are washed onto an isolated island named Tirapai. After waking up, they find the caravan is destroyed, forcing them to stay on the island until the next cargo ferry arrives in the new moon. Rapunzel and her friends resided on the island for six weeks to repair the caravan before the ferry arrived.
In "Rapunzel and the Great Tree", Rapunzel's group separate the caravan in two while being pursued by Hector before reuniting the two halves. The group is then forced to abandon the caravan as it fell off a cliff, where it crashed into a river. Hector and his two jackals investigated the caravan only to find it waterlogged and abandoned. So he kicks the caravan, and it floats downstream then goes over the falls. The caravan is retrieved by the group later in "Rapunzel: Day One".
In "Destinies Collide", the caravan accidentally rolls off the edge of the cliff and smashes at the bottom. The caravan is destroyed for good as a result and since Rapunzel and her friends have arrived at the Dark Kingdom, the caravan fulfilled its purpose by helping the group arrive to their destination.
In "Beginnings", Cassandra uncovers the wreckage of the destroyed caravan where she finds one of Rapunzel's paintings of them together with their animal friends, Pascal and Owl.
Trivia[]
- A running gag in the series is that the caravan keeps getting lost and the group keeps finding it, until it is destroyed and unusable in "Destinies Collide".
