Benjamin George Bratt is an American actor and producer, who is best known for his various film and television roles, such as Reynaldo "Rey" Curtis in the NBC crime drama series Law & Order, Steve Navarro in the Fox crime drama series 24: Live Another Day, Alfredo Garcia in the 1993 sci-fi action film Demolition Man, Detective Tom Lone in the 2004 superhero film Catwoman, and as the voice of Manny the cameraman in the 2009 Sony Pictures animated film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and its 2013 sequel.
For Disney, he played Felix in the 1991 Hollywood Pictures film One Good Cop, Paco Aguilar in Blood In Blood Out, and Jonathan Pangborn in the 2016 Marvel film Doctor Strange. He also voiced Ernesto de la Cruz in the 2017 Disney/Pixar film Coco. Additionally, he guest-starred as Javier Delgado in the ABC sitcom Modern Family.
Born in San Francisco, California, Bratt is the third of five children of Eldy (née Banda). He attended Lowell High School, where he was also a member of the Lowell Forensic Society. He earned a B.F.A. at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1986, where he joined the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Enrolled in the M.F.A. program at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, Bratt left before receiving his degree in order to star in both film and television.
