David Leonard Landau, better known as David Lander, was an American actor, voice actor, comedian, musician, baseball scout, activist, and author. He was best known for playing Andrew "Squiggy" Squiggman in the ABC sitcoms Happy Days and its spin-off Laverne & Shirley. He later reprised this role in two episodes of Saturday Night Live, as well as in Scary Movie. He was also well-known for voicing Frankie da Flea in Tom and Jerry: The Movie, Ch'p in Green Lantern: First Flight, Bernie the Swallow in Tom & Jerry Kids, Nitro in Batman: The Animated Series, the Sewer King in the Nickelodeon animated series Hey Arnold!, Donnie the Shark in SpongeBob SquarePants, and Henry the Penguin in the American dub of the British animated TV series Oswald.

For Disney, he was best known for voicing Smarty, the leader of the Toon Patrol and the secondary antagonist of Touchstone Pictures' Who Framed Roger Rabbit. He also provided additional voices in Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, voiced Weazel in TaleSpin, Da Shrimp in The Little Mermaid TV series, Horace Badun in 101 Dalmatians: The Series, Arthur in Jungle Cubs, and provided the speaking voice of Thumper in the outtakes of Disney/Pixar's A Bug's Life. His final voice role before his death was Rumplestiltskin in Goldie & Bear.
