Christopher Julius "Chris" Rock III is an American actor, voice actor, stand-up comedian, and screenwriter, known for his distinctive raspy voice. He is best known for appearing in NBC's late-night variety show Saturday Night Live, as well as in various comedy films, such as Down to Earth, Head of State, and the Grown Ups films. He also voiced Rodney the guinea pig in the 1998 comedy film Dr. Dolittle, the titular character of the 2001 Warner Bros. hybrid comedy film Osmosis Jones, and Marty the zebra and Mooseblood the mosquito in DreamWorks' Madagascar franchise and Bee Movie (respectively).
For Disney, he appeared as himself in the A.N.T. Farm episode "animal husbANTry". He also played Jake Hayes/Kelvin Pope/Michael Turner in the 2002 Touchstone Pictures film Bad Company.
