Pixar Place Hotel is a hotel at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It opened in 1984 as the Emerald Hotel of Anaheim, eventually becoming the Pan Pacific Hotel. In 1995, Disney purchased it and changed its name to Disneyland Pacific Hotel, as the park expanded into a resort. In 2001, it was renamed Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, as it overlooked Paradise Pier (since renamed "Paradise Gardens Park") at the then-newly opened Disney's California Adventure. On April 27, 2022, Disneyland announced that the hotel would be re-themed to the artwork of Pixar Animation Studios. At D23 Expo 2022, it was announced that the hotel would be renamed Pixar Place Hotel and later announced on October 23, 2023 it would reopen on January 30, 2024.[1]
