Ewan Gordon McGregor, OBE, is a Scottish actor, singer, and director. He is best known for his roles as Mark Renton in Trainspotting and its 2017 sequel, Christian in Moulin Rouge!, young Edward Bloom in Tim Burton's Big Fish, Dr. Alfred Jones in Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, and Emmit and Ray Stussy in the third season of the FX crime drama series Fargo. He also voiced Rodney Copperbottom in the 2005 Blue Sky Studios animated film Robots, as well as Sebastian J. Cricket in the 2022 Netflix stop-motion dark fantasy drama film Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio.

For Disney, he voiced the titular character of the 2005 Disney animated feature film Valiant. He also portrayed a younger Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, a role he later briefly reprised for a voice-over alongside his predecessor, Sir Alec Guinness, in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and the Star Wars series of the same name on Disney+. Additionally, he played Lumière in Bill Condon's 2017 live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast and an adult Christopher Robin in the 2018 film of the same name.
