Amos stares in surprise at Tod chasing his chickens (or so it appears).
Amos grabs his gun and fires
"You callin' me a liar, you bottle-headed female? I saw it happen!"
"Amos Slade, that temper of yours is gonna get you into a lot of trouble someday!
"TEMPER, WOMAN, YOU AIN'T SEEN MY TEMPER!"
"If I ever catch that fox on my property again, I'll BLAST HIM! And next time, I won't miss!"
"Well, Copper. Me and old Chief are gonna teach you all about huntin'. Yes, sir. And it's 'bout time, too."
"There's that fox again!"
"Where is he? WHERE IS HE?!"
"That fox of yours almost killed Chief!"
"She dropped that fox off at the game preserve."
"We'll get him. We'll get him."
"Now when that fox comes traipsin' along, suspectin' nothin'..."
Amos demonstrates the trap with a stick.
The traps snaps the twig in half.
"Well, now, we ain't gonna do none of that, are we, Copper?"
"We're just gonna get us a no-good fox."
Amos snaps the barbed wire to break into the preserve.
"Alright, boy, get tracking. Smell him out."
"He'll be comin' right through here headin' for water."
"But he won't be drinkin' any."
Amos and Copper wait for their chance to strike as Tod obliviously walks toward the traps.
"Dag blast it! He's getting away!"
Amos Slade trying to Kentucky-fry Tod and Vixey to trap them in their den
"No! I don't believe it!" Amos amazed how the foxes leaped through the flames.
"Copper, we trapped him now."
Amos stares in terror as a huge grizzly bear looms up before him! He immediately shoots the bear, but only hits the shoulder.
Before he can make another shot, bear lets out a deep growl and steps toward the alarmed hunter, causing him to drop his gun!
Amos' foot caught in one of his own traps.
Amos struggles to reach his gun, to no avail.
Amos aims his gun at the weak Tod.
Amos, considering Tod just saved his life, decides to spare him in return.
"Well, come on, boy. Let's go home."
Amos wailing in pain as Widow mends his injured foot.
"Take it easy! You're hurting my foot, woman!"
