Jason Michael Lee is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, filmmaker, producer, singer, photographer, and professional skateboarder, known for his distinctive dry, gravelly voice. He is best known for his roles as the titular character of the NBC comedy series, My Name Is Earl, Dave Seville in the live-action Alvin and the Chipmunks film series, and for voicing Bones in the 2006 Sony Pictures animated film Monster House and Charlie in the Cartoon Network series We Bare Bears.

For Disney, he voiced Syndrome in the 2004 Disney/Pixar animated film The Incredibles and in the Disney Infinity video game, as well as provided the voice of the titular superhero of the 2007 live-action film Underdog. He also played Daniel Zavitz in Enemy of the State, Skip Skipperton in the 1999 Touchstone Pictures film Mumford, Puggy in Big Trouble, PR Exec. in the 2004 Miramax film Jersey Girl, and Brodie Bruce/Banky Edwards in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
