Paula Julie Abdul is an American actress, singer-songwriter, dancer, choreographer, and television personality, who, for Disney, guest-starred in Episode 206 of Muppets Tonight and played the host in the That's So Raven episode "The Road to Audition". She also appeared as a de-aged version of herself alongside MC Skat Kat from "Opposites Attract", and voiced the 3-D reporter modeled after her in the 2022 Disney+ hybrid film Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers.

Abdul began her career as a choreographer for artists like Janet Jackson before releasing her debut album Forever Your Girl, which contained hit singles, such as "Straight Up", "Forever Your Girl", "Cold Hearted", and "Opposites Attract".

Apart from performing, Abdul continued to choreograph other productions, such as films like Can't Buy Me Love, The Running Man, Big, Coming to America, Jerry Maguire, and American Beauty, as well as Fox's The Tracey Ullman Show, in which she won two Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Choreography".

She was one of the original judges in the television series American Idol from 2002 to 2010 and has since appeared as a judge in The X Factor, Dancing with the Stars, Live to Dance, So You Think You Can Dance, and The Masked Dancer.
