Lesley Ann Warren is an American actress, singer, and dancer, who played Cordelia "Cordy" Biddle in The Happiest Millionaire, Alice Bower in The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, and Sondra in Color of Night. She also appeared in season 3 of Daredevil as Esther Falb. Additionally, she was a guest star on The Muppet Show.
Career[]
Warren began training as a ballet dancer at the School of American Ballet at the age of 14 and later entered the Actors Studio. After appearing in a few flops on Broadway, Warren got a chance of recognition in the 1965 television performance of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Cinderella. She eventually won a Golden Globe for the 1977 miniseries Harold Robbins' 79 Park Avenue, and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1982 for Victor/Victoria starring Julie Andrews.
Her other film appearances include A Night in Heaven, Choose Me, Clue, Burglar, Cop, Songwriter, Pure Country, Life Stinks, The Limey, Secretary, and the TV miniseries Family of Spies.
She has also had roles in popular TV shows, such as Dr. Kildare, Gunsmoke, The Mod Squad, Love, American Style, The Carol Burnett Show, Columbo, Mission: Impossible, Desperate Housewives, Will & Grace, In Plain Sight, Touched by an Angel, The Practice, and Community.
