David Russell Leisure is an American actor and voice actor, best known for his role as Charley Dietz in the sitcom Empty Nest from 1988 to 1995 and fictional (and "lying") automotive "pitch man" Joe Isuzu in a series of North American television commercials for Isuzu from 1986 to 1990, and again from 1999 to 2001.
For Disney, he provided the voices of Genie and Sal Manders from the Timon & Pumbaa TV series. He also voiced Guy McMahon in the Recess episode "The Beauty Contest", played Trace Cagney in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show, Mr. Chapin in the 1999 Touchstone Pictures film 10 Things I Hate About You, Charley Dietz in Empty Nest, and is one of the additional voices in Lloyd in Space.
