Pocahontas: Six New Adventures is a collection of easy-reader chapter books based on Pocahontas. It is a collection of six short stories written by various authors about events that happened before or after the movie's narrative, and published by Grolier Enterprises, Inc. with permission of the Walt Disney Company. It was published by Mega Books and was released only in the United States in 1995.
The books are stored together in a corresponding box (see images at right). One side has Pocahontas with Grandmother Willow and accompanied by Meeko and Flit. The opposite side shows John Smith exploring the woods accompanied by Thomas, who is looking nervously at something on his left, and Percy.
Three of the books tell stories that happened before the events of the movie: Little Mischief, The Hidden Village, and On The High Seas. The other three happen after the events of the movie: Keep an Eye on Meeko, A Long Way Home, and A Boy Across the Sea (In A Boy Across the Sea, the opening takes place after the movie's events, but centers around a story Thomas tells that happened before).
