"Finding Treasure!" is the first segment of the twenty-eighth episode of Mickey Mouse Funhouse. It premiered on November 18, 2022 alongside "Witchy Worries", and is the first segment of the third episode in the second season.

Plot

Captain Salty Bones needs Mickey and his pals to help him find his beloved lost dog, Treasure.

Synopsis

The episode begins just outside Funny, where Daisy and Donald are playing fetch with Pluto and Teddy. Minnie calls the ducks inside when they find a message from Captain Salty Bones: he lost his precious treasure and needs the gang's help getting it back. The gang sets off, leaving a disappointed Pluto and Teddy behind since they never finished their game of fetch.

The gang boards pirate ship Funny with their respective treasures. Donald spots Captain Salty Bones' ship and board the island. Captain Salty Bones explains that he lost his treasure and suggests splitting up to find it. Minnie uses her magic compass to find the treasure and they begin walking in the direction the compass is pointing. After walking for a while, they don't find anything. Daisy thinks the treasure is probably buried while Goofy thinks they need to continue walking. Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy continue in the direction of the arrow while Daisy and Donald begin digging for the treasure. While digging, Donald finds a dog with no owner. Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy end up circling back to the beach and see the dog. Minnie notices her compass is now pointing towards Captain Salty Bones' ship, leading Goofy to think that the captain found the treasure before they did, so he and Mickey go to the ship.

When Mickey and Goofy board Captain Salty Bones' ship, they don't find the captain, but instead a dog collar and a picture of the captain and his dog. Realizing the dog in the picture looks just like the dog they met earlier, Mickey concludes that Treasure is the name of Captain Salty Bones' dog and returns with the dog collar, explaining everything to the gang just as Salty Bones arrives. The captain begins playing his dog when Daisy and Donald realize they forgot about their game of fetch with Pluto and Teddy. They call their dogs from the funhouse and apologize, with the dogs forgiving them. The episode ends with all three dogs playing each other before Mickey says it is time to go back to the funhouse.
