Fireland (also spelled "Fire Land" in the script and the junior novelization) is the homeland of every living fire element in Disney/Pixar's 2023 animated feature film Elemental, including Bernie and Cinder.
Background[]
As seen in flashbacks throughout the movie, when Bernie and Cinder resided there, they tried to open a store similar to The Fireplace, but a disastrous storm destroyed it just as it was completed. Wanting a better life, they decided to immigrate over to Element City. Bernie's father disapproved of this decision, so much so that he did not return a traditional bow of honor given to him by his son. Fireland is never seen again.
Physical appearance[]
The residences and businesses are shaped like oil lamps. It has mountains consisting of volcanoes. What's notable is that every location has the iconic blue flame that the Lumens took with them to Element City.
