"Flyinator" is the first segment of the first episode of The Buzz on Maggie.
Synopsis[]
When Maggie can't see the same movies as Aldrin, she starts trying to be better than he is; she sneaks into an R-rated movie to be better than he is.
Plot[]
Maggie is being unusually nice to her parents during dinner and they ask what she wants. Maggie is interested in going to the movies to see The Flyinator, a movie that is supposed to be intense. Her parents tell her that they saw the movie and that while they liked it, it is too violent for her to go see. Maggie's older brother Aldrin got to see it, but only because mom and dad were with him. Her parents force her to go to the movies with her younger brother Pupert to see the safe The Prancing Princess, much to her chagrin.
Maggie and her friend Rayna are in line to see The Prancing Princess, but after looking at the other mature films, decides to buy a ticket to a mature film for herself and Rayna. They watch several of them, with Rayna getting noticeably more unhinged, until they decide to check out The Flyinator. Aldrin is there and reveals that he has been watching other mature films with his friend George and two adults they paid to be their parents. To get out of being tattled on, Aldrin bets Maggie to see The Flyinator herself.
Rayna runs out of the theater, but Maggie stays and watches the whole film, refraining from being freaked out by what she saw. She returns home with Aldrin covering for her, but Maggie begins to hallucinate her family members turning into the titular character. She finally admits that she saw the film and her parents respond by freaking her out more. They decide to leave to go check on her and to make sure she is fine while Aldrin is revealed to have also been scared by the film and hugs his Prancing Princess doll, much to Pupert's annoyance.
