"Follow That Hippo! " is the ninth episode of the Disney Jr. animated series, The Lion Guard March 18 , 2016 .
Plot [ ] The herds are grazing in the Pride Lands when some kids cry "Hyena attack!" The herds panic until the Lion Guard shows up. The Guard demands to know where the hyenas are and are told by some younglings that they were just playing Lion Guard. Kion tells them not pretend there are hyenas again and they promise to do so. An elephant named Mtoto walks up to Beshte and asks him what it's like to be on the Guard and Beshte invites him to join the Guard.
Kion has the Guard run an obstacle course. Mtoto tries his best, but he keeps messing up. The disheartened elephant decides to go home. Beshte volunteers to take him home. On the way, he kindly encourages Mtoto to not give up on his dream.
Janja's Clan show up and attack Mtoto and his friends. The elephant's friends go get help. The adults don't believe them, but the Guard does and go rescue him. They rescue Mtoto and chase the hyenas off.
