Foster is the rumored working title for an upcoming American animated film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It is scheduled to be released on November 22, 2023 and will be the 62nd animated feature in the Disney Animated Canon. The film will be written and directed by Carlos López Estrada.

Development

On April 13, 2020, three untitled animated features from Disney Animation were revealed on the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Release Schedule. One of those films was slated for a late 2023 release. Later that year on December 19, it was revealed in an interview that Carlos López Estrada was developing an original animated feature for Disney Animation which was expected to be released in 2023. On March 14, 2022, the working title for the film was revealed to be Foster during a Q&A segment on The DisInsider Show.
