Francis is a character in the 2025 Disney/Pixar long-form animated series, Win or Lose. He is the janitor at Peaks Valley Middle School.

Physical appearance

Francis appears to be a young, Caucasian male with blonde hair and red eyes. He wears a dark-grey custodian outfit.

Personality

Francis is very eccentric and outgoing, though how that affects others is anybody's guess. He seems to enjoy matchmaking, as he encouraged the teacher Frank Brown to partake in online dating. He's also a supportive guy as he encourages Frank to try and win back his ex-girlfriend, Monica Park.

Trivia

• In "Home", it is implied that Francis may have been just a figment of Frank's imagination with him outright saying that Frank “brought him into the world”. Some hints were dropped prior such as Francis having a similar name to Frank, his seeming ability to appear from random places, and the fact that he only ever interacts with Frank. It is further implied when the group photo at the end is filtered and he only appears alongside the characters and alter egos from the main characters' imaginations, such as Sweaty, Little Yuwen, Little Taylor, Frank's armor, Rochelle's "boss lady" persona, and Ira's drawing of himself.
  • However, in "Pickle", Francis is seen as one of Vanessa's ride share passengers and in "Steal", he is seen as the school bus driver for Ira, Taylor and Yuwen. These appearances in other characters' stories might mean that he is a real person after all.
