Francis Hackmore is a character in Ernest Scared Stupid.
Role in the film[]
Francis is a local superstitious hermit. She finds Ernest and three children building the tree house after Mike and Matt Murdock bullied Kenny Binder by ruining his cardboard haunted house. Ernest tries to talk to her and she reads the legendary story about Trantor. Also at that moment, she finds out he is the direct descendant of Phineas Worrell who put a curse on Trantor two hundred years earlier. After Ernest defeats Trantor, she reunites with her family, especially her sister, who was one of Trantor's original four victims.
