Francisco Ramon "Frank" Angones, Jr. is an American writer, director, producer, and story editor. He is best known for co-creating the 2017 DuckTales reboot, along with Matt Youngberg.
Angones graduated from Columbia University School of the Arts [2] in 2011[3] and moved to Los Angeles, California. He began his career writing on-air promos for Comedy Central.[4] After freelance writing for the comedy movie Mutual Friends and the TBS sitcom Men at Work, he would join Disney in 2013 first as a writer for the Austin & Ally episode "Future Sounds & Festival Songs" and later as a story editor and writer for Wander Over Yonder.
He would later go on to co-create DuckTales (2017) alongside Matt Youngberg, having grown up with the original 1987 series.

- He sang the theme song to DuckTales for his first grade talent show and incorporated the lyrics in his wedding vows with his wife, Rachel Vine.[5]
- A background character in the DuckTales (2017) episode "The Duck Knight Returns!" is based off of him.
- His favorite Christmas special is the Pinky and the Brain episode "A Pinky and the Brain Christmas".[6]
- He is a fan of the Psychonauts franchise. [7]
- His favorite Disney movies are A Goofy Movie, The Great Mouse Detective, and The Emperor's New Groove.[8] The Great Muppet Caper is his favorite movie of The Muppets franchise.[9]
- He once pitched a series of shorts focusing on Gaston to Disney but they were rejected due to Gaston being seen as too unsympathetic a protagonist.[10]
