Francesco Clemente Giuseppe Sparanero, known professionally as Franco Nero, is an Italian actor, producer, and director. He is best known for his role as the titular character in the 1966 Spaghetti Western film Django, which made him a pop culture icon and launched an international career that includes over 200 leading and supporting roles in a wide variety of films and television productions.
For Disney, he portrayed Leonardo da Vinci in the attraction The Timekeeper. He also voiced Uncle Topolino in the 2011 Disney/Pixar film Cars 2.
