Francois Poupon is a minor character from the sitcom Dinosaurs. He appeared only in the episode "Getting to Know You". He is an Archaeopteryx who speaks with a French-sounding accent.

Role in the episode[]

When Charlene signs up for an exchange program, Francois ends up with the Sinclairs while she spends time with his parents Henri and Simone. When Francois shows up at the Sinclairs' door, Fran tries to shoo him off with a broom until he tells her who he is. The Sinclairs try to get acquainted with Francois, but he continuously throws insults, squawks loudly, and demands to be entertained. Francois is momentarily left alone with Baby, and the two end up in an argument. When Francois' squawking suddenly stops, Earl and Fran walk back to the living room to find the bird missing. Baby then burps up feathers, revealing that he ate Francois offscreen.
